GOOD QUESTIONS
A little more clarity.
What is a Ledger signer?
A Ledger signer is a physical device that keeps your private keys offline and lets you approve transactions securely. Your crypto remains on the blockchain; the signer protects access to it.
What should I do with my recovery phrase?
Write it down on the recovery sheet included with your device and store it somewhere private and secure, offline. Never take a photo, type it into a computer, or share it with anyone.
How do I know my device is genuine?
Only buy from Ledger.com or an authorized reseller. Complete the genuine check in Ledger Wallet during setup and never use a device that arrives with a recovery phrase already written down.
Where can I get help with setup?
Visit the official Ledger Support site for step-by-step articles and troubleshooting. Never trust unsolicited messages offering support or asking for your recovery phrase.
